DVX^™measures DVD error rates at up to 16X on DVD-ROM and DVD±R, including dual layer discs. It can also measure Beta and Jitter, and check the quality of blank media. DVX^™ can perform bit-for-bit comparison of two discs of any type, including video, audio, or data. DVX^™ can also do bit-for-bit comparison of two discs without access to the original using a new exclusive feature called the “Clover Signature”. With an optional Analog Measurement Module AMM-1, it can also make analog (pit geometry) measurements.

AutoLoader Option

This PC-based robot allows DVX or CDX to test 250 discs unattended.  Failed discs are separated from good, and test results are saved to a file. The AutoLoader includes a built-in PC, so the whole system is in one self-contained unit.  The AutoLoader can accommodate up to two DVX or CDX analyzers for maximum throughput.

Analog Measurement Option 

This option adds automatic measurement of analog parameters related to pit geometry.  Results are integrated into the reports and graphs.  Measures Reflectivity, I₁₁/I_top, Modulation (I₁₄/I_14H), I₃/I_top, Resolution (I₃/I₁₄₎, Beta, and Asymmetry.  Connects to DVX or CDX HF Out and PC's USB port.

CDX 

A high-speed CD Analyzer that performs bit-for-bit data verification and format verification, plus measures error rates at up to 40X. It has an HF output so you can make pit geometry measurements using an oscilloscope. It is a PC based system which can include multiple drives.

DBA-1 

A self-contained, easy to use precision instrument for measuring imbalance of CD, DVD, HD, and Blu-Ray discs. Disc imbalance is important for discs that must play in high-speed drives. This unit allows manufacturers to optimize their production process and verify conformance to CD, DVD, and Blu-Ray standards.
